Read Across America Week

Read Across America

Last week, we celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday.  All week we read some of our favorite Dr. Seuss books.  We were all a fan of The Lorax and Hop on Pop.  We even watch The Lorax movie and discussed the importance of taking care of our Earth.  We began a writing project for the Lorax (more on that to come later!).  We ended the week by having a day filled with fun, learning, and even snacks.

We had visitors from the high school who read to us, played games with us, and drew cat whiskers on our faces.

Thing 1 and Thing 2!

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.”
― Dr. Seuss, The Lorax

GO RED DEVILS!

Students from our class and Mrs. Taff’s class want to wish our Coach Nelson and the Central High School Red Devils good luck in their game tonight against Carver of Montgomery.
