Our
essential question for this week has been: How do teams work together? We have read stories about many different
people and animals working together to solve problems faster.
Today,
we had the honor of having two Phenix City Police officers visit our
class. Along with them came their K-9
officers. One of the K-9’s
was trained in finding explosives and the other was trained in finding missing
people. We heard how each of the K-9s
were trained and what they do on a normal day.
We also got to see the dogs do a practice demonstration. Thanks to the PCPD K-9 Unit!!
